What's a liberal to do?

Hillary or Barak?

With Edwards and Kucinich out of the race and McCain the presumptive Republican Candidate, exactly which Democrat am I supposed to vote for on Feb 19 in the Wisconsin primary?

H and B each have their strengths and weaknesses. Things I like and dislike about each of them.

I'm a Labor Liberal and Hillary has the support of the AFL-CIO.

But Hillary waffles on the subject of torture while Obama has made clear statements against it and promises to end it if elected. This is a very touchy subject for me as I believe no nation that condones torture, under ANY circumstances, can call itself a free democracy. We're supposed to be the Good Guys.

There are many other things that make me waffle back and forth between the two of them.

I'm starting to think that maybe I should just sit out this primary. I know that in the end I will vote for whoever the Dems nominate so what does it matter who I vote for in the primary? And yet I feel it's a civic duty to vote in every election no matter how big or small it may be.

There are also a lot of "democrats" out there who say that they will vote for Obama but if Hillary is nominated they will vote for McCain. How you can say something like that and still call yourself a Democrat, is a mystery to me. Be that as it may, that would appear to make Obama the more "electable" of the two. And putting a Democrat in the White House is Job One this year.
